The Bar

Open every Friday and Saturday from 5pm to 11pm, located within the historic Denby Dale Pie Hall, the bar is a warm and inviting haven for locals and visitors alike. the bar is a communal space where patrons can unwind and socialise without the need for membership. The atmosphere is casual and inclusive, welcoming everyone to enjoy a variety of beverages ranging from real ales and wines to spirits, bottles, and soft drinks.

Our bar is often host to a variety of events, including live music and quiz nights.

One of the distinctive features of the bar is its dog-friendly policy. Dog owners can bring their furry companions along, and there’s even fresh water and dog treats available. The bar caters to those with muddy boots, offering a welcoming respite for those who have explored the numerous local paths surrounding Denby Dale.

Entertainment is in abundance at the bar, with a large 86″ television equipped with surround sound, broadcasting regular live sporting events. For those looking for a more traditional pastime, there’s a selection of board games, jigsaws, and books available for all to enjoy. The bar also proudly displays a rich collection of Denby Dale Pie memorabilia, spanning centuries from the very first pie to the latest in 2000. Notably, the official Guinness World Record for the largest meat pie, achieved on September 3rd, 1988, is showcased for all to see.
